In 2008, Wasit University was on a date to receive a new scientific bud, and a new academic scientific institution added to its other institutions, namely the College of Basic Education, which lined up with its fellow colleges of the university to paint a picture of scientific and academic creativity, and to be a passageway through which the sons of this homeland, which was radiating the light of science from all its sides to benefit humanity throughout the ages. The College of Basic Education was one of the doors of the future through which our children saw their future and their ambition, just as the nation held hopes for the development of a scientific and educational generation that believes that science and the teacher are the seed of this life that will blossom in hope and glory in the future.
The first day of September 2008 was the actual birth of the most important scientific edifice in the district, represented by the establishment and creation of the College of Science and Technology in the district, which is represented by the establishment and creation of the College of Science and Technology and the establishment of the College of Science and Technology in the district represented by the establishment and creation of the College of Basic Education, which opened its arms and its big heart to the sons of Iraq from the youth of the future from all our dear provinces to receive them as new students in two departments that were the first seed that bore fruit and science, namely the Arabic language and the science department, and they were like two beautiful and beloved children with their students and professors, and they were like two beautiful and beloved children with their students and professors.
Today, after more than a decade, that small bud has grown, and the child has become a useful young man, and basic education has become a large academic educational institution that is referred to by name, and has graduated hundreds of students, as it used to receive hundreds of them every year, the scientific departments have increased twice, becoming six departments, as kindergarten, history, geography and Islamic education were added to them, and the basic science magazine was also created and is now developing postgraduate studies in the Arabic language department.
Our college, thanks to God and the efforts of its professors and employees, as well as the efforts of its former administrative leaders, Dr. Mahdi Hattab, Dr. Hamed Al-Husseini, may God have mercy on him, and Dr. Yousef Anad, has achieved great strides at the level of education and education, whether at the level of the judiciary and its great impact on it and its educational institutions, as it has become a hub for the establishment of all educational programs in it, and from it, students of science and education are inspired by its scientific facilities, its large library and its professors who possess high scientific titles with the rank of professor and assistant professor and lesser degrees on their way to occupy higher ranks …
In terms of its impact on the university, it achieved high ranks and at other times topped the ladder of excellence in the fields of university performance within the quality standards despite its infrastructure that does not reach the modernity of the infrastructure in the university city in Kut, the center of our precious governorate.
While it recorded its name among the most prominent colleges of basic education in Iraq and contributed with its colleagues from the corresponding colleges in drawing the final picture of the colleges of the educational group in Iraq.
Today, after the long interruption of our website, it will resume its activity so that our college speaks with a visible voice to the external and internal world that it is a sober academic institution and that this sobriety did not come from a vacuum but through the language of numbers and facts, it has a product as abundant as the beautiful Tigris River that passes between its lands and its beautiful hair, and tells the whole world that the College of Basic Education is an extension of that glorious history that wrote the first letters that lit the way for humanity and gave it the keys to science and knowledge.
